i downloded the MikroKopter tool V1.66b.
i wanted to start working with it and downladed the FlightCtrl_MEGA644_V0_76g, but when i tried updating it, an error accured.

does anybody knows what i did wrong?

did you solve it?
that's a timeout, the FC is not communicating for some reason.
It may depend on many factors.
Be aware that if you have a Navi on your mK then you should update Navi firmware first.
If you have just FC only then it depends.. can you connect to FC and see / edit parameters?
If it's first time connection then maybe is just the COM port not configured correctly.

I had the same problem. Solved it with changing USB->RS232 adapter to another brand. But now I can't connect with MK to FC. It just says "no connection" in center screen. Also can't get anything on settings screen. I can still update SW. Weird. Can this be due that I have only AVR with oscillator circuitry and power supply built on breakout board? Are gyros and other stuff required to get functioning SW environment? Or is it enough with processor and minimum components for communications? Just wanted to test out SW but have hit the wall on this one.
