Has anyone tried this?
I'm wanting to be able to spin my camera mount 360 deg with the MK holding its heading in one position. I could use CF but it scares me as I've have issues in the past with the compass doing weird stuff, I've sorted out the wiring to minimise interference but I still don't trust CF 100%.
The way I understand "Fixed Orientation" to work is the MK will keep pointing to the direction that it was facing when start the motors. You can fly to any position, hover and manually rotate your MK and when you are done, you can just release the yaw stick and the MK will turn itself back to the original heading it was pointing to when you started. Correct?
I'm just wondering what would happen if I have "Fixed Orientation" checked and for some reason get something causing interference to the compass, is this going to cause the MK to spin randomly to align with the compass? Could be very scary!!
Is there any way that this can be set to a poti that allows you to turn it on and off while flying?
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks,
Craig
