Hi all.

I've got a CS8 frame running MK electronics (FC2.2)
Recently, when I plug my FC into MKTools, the values "I2C Okay" and "SPI Okay" keep climbing, seemingly forever.

Can someone help me learn what these scopes mean, and what the increasing values are indicating? Gary Hynes from the Freefly forums suggested it could mean the I2C bus or BL controller are failing?

Cheers,
Mat

hm,
Okay is Okay and never means error.
increasing values can be a number of many things.
About Scope you can read under http://wiki.mikrokopter.de/en/MikroKopterTool#include.2FKopterTool.2FScope.Scope

It means system running and communication is good.

The scope you use when you need to analyse a problem or debug something.

The scope graph is auto scaled to fit the biggest value. You should not select to have "I2C Okay" and "SPI Okay" on the scope because the values grow big within seconds so every other value looks small and becomes a flat quasi 0 line.

It is important to look for I2C errors and SPI errors. You can see those in the GNSS (GPS) log file on the Micro SD of the NaviCtrl. Use MK GPX Tool to view.

Thank you to both of you.

That all makes perfect sense.
Thanks for the links, Sergey. I read most of those pages, but never found an explanation for those particular parameters.
