Hi All,

I am getting Error 24 after about 5 a 10 minutes of flying.
The current is about 35Ampere and the BL-CTRL temp rises to 100 degrees. How to resolve this?

Now i have drilled some big holes in the cover for extra airflow. On the BL-CTRL are cool ribs mounted.

Does this affect all blc or only one particular one?
If only one, check motor if it is binding
If all then try with no cover and see if that helps
If it helps then you can see the problem

I had 95 on my first XL build but after upgrading software it was also resolved as a last resort
I have sold that now and built a new hexa XL. With cover on and 1.5kg load and cover on with no holes i am getting 45 to 50 deg

It's over all the BL's. The temp ranges from 85 tot 100 degrees. Tomorrow I will fly without cover as you suggested.

Off-coure it's already pretty warm now in Holland (about 30 degrees outside) but i hoping to fly in all kinds of weather.

35 amps is quite high, what is your payload? Can u post some pictures?

Tomorrow I wil post some photo's. I've got the 35Amps even without my Sony nex 7 or Sony CX740.

It's the Doidworx V3 with the MK HiSight SLR2. I've used the Pro Mount/AV200 but I think has to much weight.

I am using 2xLipo 4s Vislero 5000mAh in parallel. At home i have nothing to weigh the system with or without the cams but I can ask somebody next door.

Av200 500g. 2 x lipo 1.1 kg cx 740 560g that should be no problem. And around 30 - 32 amps. Mine is similar but only 2 x 3000. 4s at 560 g but my gimbal is 3 axis at 850 g and Sony cx 760 at 560 g so total there is 1600g excl lipo at 30-32 amps at hover. And ecs at 45-48 deg. Using 12x3.8 apps slow fly

It also dropped 2 times out of flight. Lucky i was only flying at low altitudes above grasslands. No permanent damage.

Could it be it is dropping out of flight because of the BL-CTRL overheating? I am not an electronic expert.

Yes it could be that or it could be your ALT sensor not working if you have ALT lock on..
Without more details it is difficult to judge.

The values where this afternoon after 2 test flights of about 10 minutes a bit better. I ventilated the hood with many 10mm holes and it's a big difference.
The outside temperature while flying was 33 degrees.

With Sony Nex as payload. and 2x lipo 4S 5000mAh Vislero.

Controler temps: 72, 63, 65, 58, 55, 54. No error 24 anymore!.

Are these normal values?

Your craft is not balanced, they should all be similar within about 5 deg, but looking better already.
The controller at 72 deg is working very hard, compared to the one at 54. try get your CG better..

Mine are all 48 or 49 after 8 minutes with full load.
